Interesting, Chrome's full text search ignores Unicode joins, but Firefox doesn't!
The following script will break full text search in Firefox, with zero (or almost zero) visible changes:
walk=document.createTreeWalker(document.body,NodeFilter.SHOW_TEXT,null,false); while(n=walk.nextNode()) n.textContent =n.textContent.replace(/([^\s])/ig, "\u200c$1");
Your generic mastodon instance for people who just want to have fun. Rules are pretty simple and moderation is lax, just remember to be a good boi!
